August emphasizes what you do best - socialize! Libra has always been the one sign known to have more friends and contacts than just about anyone else, but now your circle of friends and associates is about to get even bigger.
As you begin the month, you have four gracious planets in your eleventh house of friendships and hopes and wishes, a sure sign things will be lively. In fact, with Venus, your ruling planet, joining the Sun, new moon, and Mercury in this part of your chart, you are likely to be attending a festive, luxurious social event and be very focused on your relationship with one particular friend.
There will be something important about this new moon, August 1, because it is also a total solar eclipse. That's news, for we only get four eclipses a year, and this one will bring its twin later in the month on August 16. This will mark the start of a new emerging series in Leo-Aquarius that will continue until August 2009.
Eclipses often bring endings. In your case, a friend may be "eclipsed out" of your life at this time. This makes me wonder if the party you may be attending will be a farewell gathering for a friend who is moving away or taking another job, as two examples. It seems that your friend's status is about to change dramatically, or that yours will now, and that change will alter your relationship to one another forever.
In a less positive interpretation of this aspect, it's possible that you will have a falling out with a friend and suddenly break things off. Although possible, I don't see that as a likely outcome. The other possibility is that you may hear that a friend is in crisis or in need of your loving support in some way, and if that is the case, you will need to be with your friend, doing whatever you can to lend a hand.
Conversely, if you are the one who is in need of help, you will be touched by how strongly your friends buttress you at this time. Actually, if you do feel stress, you will have two distinct areas of extraordinary help. The first will be from your friends, due to the lineup of planets in Leo in early-to-mid August. The second area will be from your family, most likely a parent, thanks to the staunch presence of Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, in your fourth house of home.
There is one other possible outcome of this eclipse, and that's if you are running for office or volunteering in a club, charity, humanitarian group, or professional organization, that position would begin now. Since an eclipse portends something important and character-building in the works, it seems that you would have much to gain from taking on this position.
If you were born on October 2, or within five days of this date, you will feel the effects of this eclipse most of all. It seems you will benefit from a friend's kindness.
Two weeks later, on August 16, will come the second eclipse, a lunar full moon eclipse that will put your focus squarely on a romantic relationship if you are single, or on a child if you have one, as both relationships are covered by this part of your chart, your solar fifth house. (If you are married or in a long-term established relationship, your alliance would come under the seventh house, not being touched by this eclipse.) Something involving your love life or child will come to critical mass near this eclipse August 16 because this will also be a full moon.
Should this eclipse emphasize a child, you may find out that you're pregnant or if you or your partner is expecting a baby soon, the baby could easily arrive within five days of August 16. If you have put in an application for an adoption, you might hear that you are about to become a parent this month. Exciting!
If you have a child who is older, that child seems to be entering a new phase in life, and as a result, you will, too. You may be soon sending your child to kindergarten, first grade, high school, or college. Eclipses usually mark rites of passage. Or, if your child is no longer a student, that child may move out to her own apartment, or if you are recently divorced, to live with an ex who has custody. Eclipses require adjustment, so even a happy event, like seeing your child set off to college, will bring the need to get used to the new set of circumstances.
If you are single and not dating, this full moon may bring a new romantic interest. (Yes, if you felt it would take an eclipse to find someone you'd be excited about, well, you have that now!) You may be very inspired by this full moon eclipse, because it could turn out to be particularly glamorous falling so close to Neptune. You may get engaged or married, or if you are attached to someone, you may travel together on a very inspiring vacation, and it would be a good time to do so. Venus, your ruling planet, will send a lovely missive to Jupiter on August 16, so this weekend could be outstanding.
Eclipses bring things to a head, so if you have been unhappy in a relationship with someone you have been dating recently, then you may have a talk to decide if you are to continue dating or not. Alternatively, it is possible you may get information that troubles you about someone you've been dating in the first stages of a relationship, but let's hope that doesn't happen. Eclipses look for weak links, like heat-seeking missiles, but if they find none, you will hear nothing. In that respect, eclipses are really your friend, bringing information you need.
Creativity may also (or alternatively) be the subject of this eclipse, and if you have been working on a project, it's likely it would come to a finish now. You'd feel a great deal of pride, and rightly so. There will be something magical about this eclipse, so you should feel very gratified and excited about all you achieved. Things that happen on eclipses tend to portend that something more is on the way, so take this period seriously. This project could become a jewel in your crown and lead you to something else that's bigger and better.
If you were born on October 16, plus or minus five days, this eclipse will call your name, and you'll most likely enjoy the results of this eclipse.
Against this background, Mars will be in your twelfth house from the start of the month until August 16. That period will be your more reflective, thoughtful time of the month, and one in which you can get a great deal done behind closed doors. Creative efforts will go particularly well during this phase, and if you are working on one that needs conclusion by the eclipse August 16 or shortly thereafter, you will meet your deadline.
Once Mars enters Libra on August 19, to stay until October 4, you will be in the lead. This will be the moment you've long awaited, for Mars will give you the green light to press forward on the plans dearest to you. Mars only comes around to Libra every two years to help you launch an important new, energetic cycle. If you have a big proposal to present or plans to make with a sweetheart, partner, or mate, you will want to do so during this phase.
At work, people seem cranky and out of sorts, so you'll need to treat co-workers and subordinates with care, lest you trigger any confrontation. It's anyone's guess why these people will be so fragile this month, but they will be, and to keep the atmosphere calm, you'll need to be sensitive to this trend. On August 6, Mars will oppose Uranus from your sixth house to twelfth house, and that's considered a very hot, angry aspect that could bring on an unexpected confrontation. Uranus always leaves a scar, which means the person you conflict with could carry a grudge for a long time - or you might be the one who feels this way.
The problem with this aspect is that it has a wide area of influence. You will have to start tip-toeing around the office as soon as the month begins, and continue being diplomatic with co-workers and those who report to you until August 16.
I will also caution you to be careful about your health and well-being around this time too, especially if you use heavy machinery at work. The sixth and twelfth houses rule preventative health measures in a chart, so look where you are going, and don't carry anything too heavy. Your feet are particularly sensitive to this aspect, so you don't want to drop anything on your foot. Safety first, dear Libra!
This month is unusual in that there will be a second new moon, arriving August 30. This one will occur in your behind-the-scenes sector, suggesting that confidential talks and meetings will go well. You'll be in a strong planning mode, perhaps training your mind on how to best assist a family member or plotting the blueprints for a major residential move. If you need to move house, decide this month to do so in late December or early January for best luck. The same applies to renovations and plans to refurbish, make repairs, or redecorate.
Before I go, I would like to list your most fun evenings to enjoy love. Keep in mind that this is a month that holds eclipses, so how things go will depend a lot on how things have been going with someone you've been dating. If you are married or attached seriously, you will not be as affected by these eclipses, but it will be a great period to take more time for one another, such as to go on a vacation.
Whatever you do, when it comes to love and relationships, no matter what your status, avoid August 23 when your ruler, Venus, will oppose Uranus. It would be a dreadful day for a first date, or for having that special talk about a grievance with the one you love or are dating. On this day, read a good book and stay out of the line of fire!
Here are your best date nights: August 1, 4, 5, 9-10, 11, 15-16 (wild cards), and 28-29.
Summary
Your attention will be drawn closely to a friend who seems to be leaving your everyday life soon, and the thought seems to have made you sentimental. News will arrive immediately, on or close to the soar eclipse (new moon) August 1. It looks like you will be invited to a celebratory event that will draw many friends together, perhaps to toast your friend on August 1 or 2, but as said, it appears your happiness for your friend will be bittersweet.
On one hand, you may be happy for your friend. She may be getting married, or having a baby, or buying a house in a distant city. Or if it's a male pal, he may be making lifestyle changes as well. At the same time, you will be cognizant of the passing of time and the fact that your lifestyles will now have to move in different directions. These moments are hard for everyone. Make plans to see one another as often as you can.
On the heels of this eclipse will come the full moon lunar eclipse on August 16. This one will highlight your love life, and your children, if you have them. Eclipses apply tests, so if you're dating someone and are not happy, the eclipse may finally force you to a crossroad where you will decide whether to stay and fix the relationship or leave without looking back.
Eclipses often create that kind of all-or-nothing situation, so if your relationship should reach this stage, be philosophical. We cannot move forward in life if we are forever torn between two choices - the universe understands this, which is why the eclipses are so forceful in asking us to decide things once and for all. Venus makes a lovely angle to Jupiter, so it seems that you will actually be pleased with events - a stressful manifestation from this eclipse seems unlikely Should you be the exception, the positive interplay between Venus and Jupiter indicates you will make the right decision, one that yields the kind of results that protect and benefit you.
In regard to your children, you may be sending your little one off to camp or first grade soon, and be suddenly reminded of how far your child has come since you first held him or her in your arms. Being a good mother or father is sometimes a matter of letting your little bird fly free. Learning to let go is never easy.
At the office, be careful how you speak to co-workers and subordinates, lest you offend someone without meaning to do so, especially near the Mars to Uranus opposition, August 6, but actually throughout the first half of the month.
Mars will enter Libra on August 19 until October 4. You only get Mars' favor every two years, and when you do you are favored more than any other sign. Your moment to launch a major plan is coming soon. While you could do so at the end of this month, there is ample reason to wait. Spend one more month working on rooting out flaws and testing assumptions. Launch on next month's new moon in Libra, September 29, and you'll be so glad you did.
The month closes on a very positive note. The new moon in Virgo, August 30, will appear in the most private part of your chart, the twelfth house. This house's place in the chart helps us plan and anticipate new cycles to come. Any talks you have off stage and out of the limelight will go very well, especially since Mars will be in Libra at the time.
Jupiter will beam golden vibrations from your fourth house of home to that new moon on August 30, indicating that you will have an excellent window of opportunity to improve your living situation in any way you like. Buy or sell property, renovate, do repairs, reorganize closets, or simply buy new accessories and linens. Any home, real estate or family-related plan should go well.
August won't be the easiest month of the year, but it may turn out to be one of your most productive. Two eclipses this month will create sudden opportunities, as well as a few twists and turns that will require quick adjustments and action. On top of this, Uranus will attempt to steal the thunder of these eclipses by opposing Mars and Mercury, so you'll have your hands full with that, and this will cause certain tensions. And just as things begin to simmer down as it approaches its end, a second new moon will pop up to focus your attention squarely on your home and family. Talk about a nonstop month!
Indeed, August will be quite a month, but in almost every case, whenever jarring news surfaces, it seems to happen because something has been going on that you weren't privy to but should know either to protect yourself or that you'd want to try to "catch" quickly before the situation unravels. You will see what I mean as we go along. I know you need a more detailed explanation of this wild month, so let's start at the beginning.
As mentioned, the eclipses are back this month. Eclipses typically arrive in pairs every five-and-a-half months, so the last time they showed up was last February. Looking back, the one eclipse I would like you to think about occurred on February 6, for it occurred in Aquarius. Something that came up then may still be on your mind now, or a very casual contact or conversation you had then may now prove far more important than you had assumed. The eclipses this month will grow the seed that may have been planted then. (If nothing happened then, then something may be hatched now.)
The new eclipses, arriving August 1 and 16, will be in Leo and Aquarius respectively, signs that relate well to your Sun in Gemini. Eclipses always bring unanticipated changes, so just when you thought you couldn't possibly handle one more thing on your agenda, you will find a way to do so, because it will take priority. Eclipses are also known to move up our timetables dramatically - things we had planned to do two years from now (as an example) will happen today. You are a flexible soul - your resourcefulness is what everyone finds so lovable and admirable about you - so all that you will be asked to do will be within your capability to do so (even if you think you can't).
At the total eclipse of the Sun on August 1, things look exciting. There will be four planets in Leo crowded in your solar third house: Venus, Mercury, the new moon, and Sun, and that adds up to lot of energy. This house rules travel, so you may discover you'll need to pack and go quite unexpectedly. This house rules trips that are within a few hundred miles away, so most people would travel by car, bus, or train. If you do fly, it will be a short flight.
This house is also associated with writing and communication, and again, as the zodiac's most talented scribe, you excel in this area. The eclipse is a new moon, suggesting a new opportunity will rapidly open up, and since Leo rules entertainment, you may be writing a screenplay, book, or article for television, radio, the silver screen, Internet, or other media. Your topic may be celebrities, politicians, or humanitarian projects / charities, or address children's interests, because Leo rules all things related to children, too.
Because eclipses often cause endings, you may have to give up one job or assignment to take another. Let's say you had a column that you loved doing. You may have written it for years, but suddenly an eclipse comes up and you are told that the editorial committee has decided to end your column for no particular reason. Things like that happen at eclipse time, but what's more important than the event itself (you lost a satisfying, ongoing project) is what you will do about it.
All eclipses are on a mission to help you use your time well, and if the eclipse feels that you have learned all you will from your last job, it will ask you to move on to your next one, and almost always it turns out to be something better. You know in your heart you'd have never left that first job if you weren't forced to do so, but once it is taken away and you look at your options, you see how broadening the experience of looking at new opportunities can be.
Don't think in terms of only earning more money - eclipses are very important cosmic events that are laden with deeper meeting. It will coax you to ask yourself, "What do I find satisfying?" You will likely want to find something that will teach you something new and help you develop your talents to a new, more sophisticated level. When we give something up, or it is taken away, we have nothing left to lose, and in that there's a joyful freedom and anticipation. So rather than focus on what was lost, focus on all you have to gain now that you are unencumbered.
The third house that so lit up for you this month is also associated with contracts. You may be working on one that needs your signature soon. In this case I will ask you to take your time, for it's never good to initiate anything vital on or very close to an eclipse. Wait for a while if you can. The rule of thumb at eclipse time is always not to initiate but rather to react, for taking that route will bring you best results. I always say, "Open the window and see what flies in." It can be very telling! If you are too busy "doing," you won't be able to fully see and understand the major trends shaping up. On eclipses, you must spend a great deal of time listening and watching.
There is one more part of your life that you need to pay attention to at the start of August, and that's your sister, brother, or cousin. Something may be starting up for your sibling, so call, for you'll want to be all ears.
Eclipses have unusual timing - longer, wider, and more powerful than a regular new moon or full moon. Watch August 1, plus one week, but also pay attention to events and news that comes to you regarding the areas mentioned one month to the day later, on September 1 plus one week. Some eclipses don't deliver their news for one month to the day later.
If you were born on May 31, you will notice one of these areas to be quite lit up for you, and you will also benefit most from this eclipse.
One of the difficult aspects of the month involves a direct opposition of Mars to Uranus on August 6. Add an extra ten days, as this aspect has an usually wide span in which to deliver its news. Mars - ruling energy and aggression - will be in Virgo and light your house of home and family, and oppose Uranus in Pisces in your house of career reputation. Something seems to be reaching critical mass, and you will undoubtedly feel pushed and pulled between the needs of your family or physical home and that of your boss and your career. It will seem like everything screams for you attention at once, and somehow you'll have to keep everyone happy.
On August 15, Saturn will meet with your ruler, Mercury (they only conjoin once a year, and that's the day), so I feel that by then you may be feeling overwhelmed and tired by all that is happening, and that will lead you to be uncharacteristically gloomy about your future prospects. You should not feel this way - whatever you think you might lose is something not worth stressing over.
The next day will bring the full moon eclipse in Aquarius on August 16, highlighting a situation with a foreign person based abroad or someone who is based many miles from your home base, but still is in your country. You may be talking about the import or export of goods, services, or information (as a Gemini). Or, it may be that you will need to travel to have a face-to-face with a client or family member who seems to need to talk with you. This eclipse seems to be a little demanding, so keep your schedule light so you can concentrate on whatever comes up.
Speaking of relatives, if you do see a family member, the person on your mind seems to be an aunt, uncle, or in-law (someone close, but not a sister, parent, or child.)
Neptune will oppose the Sun and conjoin the full moon eclipse on August 16, so things may go one of two ways. This eclipse may mark a dazzling point for your creative efforts. Something could set your sprits soaring and suddenly allow your imagination to take flight. If the more negative side to Neptune dominates, everything may seem glossy and beautiful on the surface but be less so on closer inspection. In this case you may not be able to see the difficulties for weeks or months later, so proceed slowly. If you are entering a serious business deal, it will be important to be as realistic and grounded as possible, and not get too carried away.
If you are heading to college for fall semester near August 16, do whatever you can to get to your campus early if you still need to register for classes. I would like you to do so, just in case a certain course you want suddenly becomes unavailable. Stay flexible and be ready for all types of shifts. You are innately adaptable, so this should not ruffle your feathers too much. Still, getting to the registrar's office early is definitely a good idea.
If you were born on June 15, you will feel this eclipse most - and you will benefit most, too.
The challenges of the month won't be quite over, however, as Mercury and Uranus will be at odds on August 23. If you are saying to yourself, gee, there's no letup, you would be right, and everyone of every sign will be affected by this situation to some degree. Mercury rules Gemini, so you will want to lie low near this date. Don't have any key meetings, as there seems to be a separating theme to all this - finding accord would likely prove difficult.
The best part of your life right now involves your ability to generate money. You may doubt it as you read this, for until now it may have been a little too soon for you to see this as true. Still, by August this should start to become clear, almost certainly by September through December. (Jupiter is currently in weak, retrograde motion, but by September 8, Jupiter will turn direct, and will work harder for you.) Jupiter will converse with Mars, Venus, Mercury, and Saturn, so some sort of deals you began looking into last month seem to have excellent potential - keep working on those projects!
Your home seems to continue to be a big priority for you, whether to move, sell, buy, rent, or fix up to make it more special and reflective of your evolving needs. The new moon on August 30 will open a portal and allow you to accomplish many of your plans to stabilize or improve your living situation. This new moon will be conjunct Saturn, so the decisions and initiations you make at the end of August (or, in early September) will allow you create a very comforting sense of permanence.
Romantically, things look very bright too, and for that you can thank your lucky stars. Mars is about to move into Libra and fill your fifth house of true love from August 19 until October 4. Next month a new moon will come by to give your love life an additional boost, so things should really start to sizzle soon! Although this month will have been a workout at times, you do have lasting love to look forward to if you look for it. Those who hope to conceive a baby have a terrific chance for conception in that time period, too.
Romance will be best: August 9-10 and 15-16, but best of the best after August 19 (all the way until October 4). Add a star to the weekends of August 23-24 and 28-29.
Summary
Unexpected travel could be on your agenda, always a delightful option for a Gemini. With a packed third house, your journeys would come up at the solar eclipse August 1 and would be to a place close to home. If you find you have to travel later, near the lunar eclipse, August 16, you will go much farther away.
These trips may be a bit demanding, simply because unexpected elements are likely to come up. The second eclipse, August 16, seems to be done to accomplish something for work. If you don't travel, you may find yourself on the phone a great deal with people far from your base, possibly even abroad.
A contract may also be on your mind too, and negotiations may be going hot and heavy as the month opens. An eclipse in Leo on August 1 will favor you, but you still have to carefully go over all the fine print. By the full moon eclipse in August 16, it may be ready for your lawyer's leisurely review. It is never wise to sign papers on or even near an eclipse, as things never work out as anticipated. Allow some space around the dates of each eclipse. A lot of cosmic dust will be kicked up at eclipse time, and you won't be able to see the road ahead clearly. Take your time and tell your lawyer to take her time, too.
Alternatively, you may be ready to crystallize a book, magazine, or other communications-oriented venture by the same lunar eclipse August 16. Look closely at all the fine print as you may find the wording to be too open ended. Your lawyer can help you tighten the language, a good idea, for if you don't, the clauses could later prove confusing and open to too much interpretation - that is not what you want!
There's one day when needs of the office will clash sharply with those at home - August 6. This hot atmosphere will have an area of influence of a full week on either side of this date. Stay objective and as unemotional as possible, as sudden news is bound to come your way at some point. When news hits, you'll need to find a solution for both a career and also a real estate / domestic or family matter, pronto. You are a resourceful soul, and this should be something fully within your capability.
Your home and family will become a bigger focus yet just after August 30, when the new moon will ramp up the action there. You may be moving house, buying a house, or getting a head start on fixing up your house to be done by the coming winter holidays. Good idea. Renovations and orders for furniture and other accoutrements take time to complete. If you start at the August 30 new moon, you are likely to enjoy the results. If you sign off on your choices at month's end, you'll likely love what you decide for many years to come.
You'll need money to make your changes in your home or apartment, and happily, thanks to a gorgeous alignment of Mars to Jupiter that occurred last month on July 26, the money will appear you when you need it most this month. Other planets will follow this helpful trend - namely Venus (August 16) and Mercury (August 17) - and will also see that you get the mortgage, home improvement loan, or other funds you'll need. On another topic, if you need a new roommate, you can find one quite easily after August 30, and it would be someone who would get along remarkably well with you.
A romantic trend will start up once Mars tours your true love sector from August 19 to October 4. It is fortunate that this new bewitching period won't start until month's end - you will have more than enough to do with home, travel, contracts, a book, magazine, or other media deal, and possibly a return to the classroom! Thank goodness you are a multi-tasking Gemini!
Why I like blogger better than MYSPACE any day of the week...
Number one reason would have to be because you can back search anything you can think of, and If you posted it, you'll find it. Whether it be those awesome pics you snapped out the lake or a link to order online Pizza, it's like your own memories index.
Number two reason would have to be because this blogoshere business is totally customizable. The only difference between this site and my website, is that I have completely deleted the old blog codes for my page, and re-created a new code. It's like starting with a blank sheet of white paper. No matter how many times you re-vamp your myspace page, it will always be constrained by the little things you have to put in certain areas and how they are edited, for example, your profile area will only show things the way myspace tells them to. Always your name here and your pic there garbage! My way, I choose where, what, how, and the end result is something that I can actually use, instead of the same repetitive nonsense.
As if I needed anymore reasons, this is the mother of all that is the future of marketing. With the types of webtracking that is available, for free I might add, you can literally track the people that come to your website and see what they found to be most interesting. With Stat-Counter you can "drill down" data as they refer to it. This allows you to look at various ways people looked at your page and for how long. It will also tell you things like what kind of Operating Systems and Web Browsers people are using to view your website. If so many people that are using your site are looking at it with Internet Explorer and there are still a good portion of users that are looking at it with Mozilla FireFox, you may want to go download FireFox just so can you can look at your page with the same kind of web browser they are. You will tend to notice that the way you post pics and comments appears in Internet Explorer differently than it will when looking at the same page with Opera or FireFox, etc. Same is true for operating systems. Microsoft WindowsXP alone will change the way your page looks as opposed to looking at the same page with Apple's Leopard operating system. Marketing is based on many of the same principals, you always look at different ways to deliver the fruits of your labor to it's accepting audience.
There is a tool down at the bottom of this page that monitors the traffic that comes on this site. With it you can see the last 100 visitors and how they came to your page. If they used Google or any other search engine to get to your page, it will tell you exactly what the user typed in the search bar that got them there. It will also show you a map of the world (similar to Google Earth) with every user that has hit your website pinpointed and every pinpoint is a link to that individual users details. For example, one users little pinpoint will tell you where they live, their I.P. address, their Internet Service Provider, what Browser they were using and with what screen resolution. It gets pretty deep. But among all things, that was my favorite, it actually helped me shape the way I built Cut Copy Paste and even now, that website draws it's own traffic by people that are searching for ways to edit their blogger.
That's the reason I guess I named this one Amanda Magazine, even though it's yours to do with whatever, it really is a catalogue of all your Amanda thoughts...
So, I'm lookin' through the PATCAM Video Blog cause I wanted to add the tool bar to the top of your page. Almost all the videos, especially the music videos, are "no longer available." YouTube is bad about deleting videos for various reasons. I do know another place to get Videos, David showed it to me, it's called Music Jesus.
It's going to be a real pain in the ass though, to have to go back into each post and replace the codes, GRRRR! I can grant someone admin rights to it though, and they could replace and add their own videos, etc. It's already set up, and if you ever try to start a blog, you'll find that the hardest part is to get all your toys pinned to the header and sidebars.
Anyway, this among one of the many projects I have let go and the site definitely needs maintenance.
Microsoft is aiming Windows 7 for a late 2009 or early 2010 release (and according to our sources Q4 is the targeted time frame, since Microsoft does not want to miss the Christmas season again). If the company will be out by Christmas 2009, it will beat Apple in its own game, being the first to bring multi-touch user interface to the PC market. Apple's next OS X version dubbed Snow Leopard is schedule for an early 2009 released.
Find the video you are trying to post and next to the video on the right there will be a box with the pre-made code for that video, you simply copy and paste the code into a post and publish.
You can also customize the border etc. But, be sure and set it up first if you add the borders, or it wont be in the code...
Ok I will but I don't know how to get the link. But what I wanted was to be able to put a song on here for you to hear, like you did with that "dirty laundry" song the other day..
Get me a link for your playlist, and I will add it in place of mine. I tryed to get Seeqpod to work, but it was actin all goofy. I have been able to find alot more music on Seeqpod than I ever did off of playlist though...
I am sorry that I have not made you happy like I am suppose to. I assure you it was not for lack of trying. I love you with all my heart and soul. You were the first person in my life to show me how it felt to be truly loved, and I must admit it feels great. I know things need to change I guess I have gotten so used to the way things are I don't know how or are afraid to change. I know the thought of never holding you, loving you, kissing you, making love to you again scares me. I thank we could both stand to change a few things. I think the question now is are we both willing to try, or do we keep this up of never talking? I know what I want now I guess I know what you want, even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear. I love you and will miss you more than you will ever know.I am sorry.....................................
"I thought when people were in a relationship and knew they wanted to be with each other forever that you made it work, no matter what."
That theory may be true, but "no matter what", that leaves you a lot of room to just do whatever and I guess I'm just supposed to just put up with it. I don't think I could have ever explained to you in a way that you would accept and understand, that would have ever caused us to come to a compromise. The truth is, I can't tolerate the constant disrespectfulness, whether it be towards me or you or anyone else for that matter. I thought that maybe by leaving for a while, you would come to miss me and maybe be more assertive towards the whole situation. On the contrary, I would go as far as to say it's only reached levels that are uncorrectable. Granted I may have my own set of issues, I cannot continue to live this way. I do not plan to live with my sister for the rest of my life, and I know she doesn't like that idea either. But, the way things are in "your" house, I don't see us living together either. This small conception has left me to wonder what the future will bring if I continue on this way.
I have known for some time that my patience has been wearing thin, and though I have I have tried to express to you how I feel, I don't think there's anything you can or will do to correct the ancillary problems that plague this relationship. It appears to me that you are almost being defiant, and if the only reason you are letting the kids do all the crap that they do is just to defy me, then it is best I move on, so that at least at some point they may get some sort of constructive discipline.
I cannot continue to believe that I have no way out of here. I have to find my exit stradegy, and I feel that if I keep waiting for you, I will be waiting for nothing. Since you are self-assured that there are no problems that need to be addressed, nothing will ever get fixed, and I will always be unhappy with the conditions. You may be right, there may be nothing wrong, it may all be in my head, but from where I'm sitting, I see no other solution. I have tried to work with you on this issue numerous times, so it's not like I just found a problem and threw in the towel. The last thing on this earth I ever wanted to do is start over. This will take more time to recover from than I can even concieve. But, if I don't do something now, I will quite possibly be unhappy for the rest of my life.
I love you and miss you too, but the only way this will be easy for me is just to put a whole lot of space between me and you until I can come to terms with the decisions I have made and move on.
I wish there was another way, but through the six years I have put into this relationship, the one thing I have come to understand is that it will be easier for you to just let things stay the way they already are...
Tools: The post right after this has labels (Nissan, etc.), the labels and the text are both searchable in the NAVBAR at the top of the window. So, if you post something like a recipe or a music video, simply label or type out the title of whatever it is you posted, and when it gets booted off the main screen and into the archives, you can go find it by simply typing part of the title in the NAVBAR.
How To Post a Picture
Sign up for a Photobucket account, and when you uplaod an image, they will give you a link address, it should start with a http://, copy and paste that address in the img tag and define the width (change the 300 to the size you want) and when you publish the end result will be a picture.
Remeber the infamous Nissan Optical Illusion, it's so insignificant to most people, but the fact that I can do that, to me, is still impressive. My biggest fear is that someday I will lose my creativeness and completely void this hobby. Click the pic for the full-size view and see if you can find the lines that seperate the image...
Your so full of shit. I don't think you have the right to talk about me and my parenting skills. Who in the hell are you to judge me. If you think you can trot your ass out into this world and getting someone that will be your life and you family GO FOR IT!!! You think you are so perfect and me and the kids are the only problem BULL SHIT!! You have plenty of your own issues which I might add I have learned to live with because I love you. But fuck this if you think all I do is bring you down and that you can take your ass out there and find someone better than by all means go for it. I won't try and stop you because unlike you I wanna see you happy. I am not out for revenge (childess) It is time you realized life is only what you make of it. And for everyone out there that thinks I have issues worry about your own ass and not mine and my kids. Those kids are my life and without them who knows where I would be today. So if I am not your PERFECT women go find her but just remember the grass is not always greener on the other side. I am tired of being told how shitty of a job I do and how I make you miserable. Well I am sorry I guess the best thing I could do is let you go see. You live with your sister because you chose that. Remember life was going to be so grand over there REMEMBER!!! Well I think I am with you on the fact that maybe it isn't worth it for someone who will never love me the way I deserve to be loved for the way I am and not want me to change. Remember you should love someone for the way I am.
IT HAS BEEN SIX YEARS, that's about the only thing you got right in your little testament. Six years of putting up with the most ridiculous behavior I have ever seen kids exert to their parents, when they talk to you, they don't even give you the respect they give most of their friends. You are the only one on this planet that thinks there is no problem.... I don't know what you think there is to work out. According to you, I am the one with the problems, I should compromise, well to hell with that! Compromise is half-way, not me change, and you stay the same... You can raise your spoiled ass children however you want, shower them with all the material possessions you want, sugar coat it however you want, because I will not tolerate someone elses ineffectiveness. Your reckless decisions are due to cause you more problems than I could ever dish out. My best revenge is just knowing that you won't change anything, and eventually one of the two will cost you way more than you can ever afford.
All of this is pointless to talk about anyways. This is going nowhere, your D average students are never going to get anywhere in life so long as 'Mom' is living in utter denial. I tell you what though, without me there you can shower them with all the material crap you want and there will be no-one there to make you feel guilty for doing so. So, good luck with that, I have to find my own direction in life or else live here in someone elses world. I want a life and a family, but not one that only drags me down and makes me feel like shit ALL THE TIME.
If I must feel lonely, I think I'd rather just be alone....
